This hackathon is ONLY for current or future TAMS students.
HackTAMS is an opportunity for TAMS students who feel isolated, bored, or anything in between showcase their abilities and ideas in an online group setting where we can still connect with each other despite the physical isolation.
There will be two categories that you can apply to:
- Design-athon
- Hackathon
The design-athon is intended to allow anyone, including people who do not have any CS or engineering experience, a chance to win! All you have to do is come up with an amazing idea and design a simple flyer or website. What really counts for this category is the idea and presentation/pitch. If you want to just program a cool program, sign up for the hackathon category! If you are uncertain about which category your project belongs to, contact any CSO exec and we'll be sure to help!
There will be workshops where you can learn new skills, game events for everybody to relax and have fun, guest speakers to share their experiences, and guest judges from our wonderful TAMS staff! We hope to see you there and stay safe everyone!
We're tired of using slack so instead, we're using Discord! One of the great advantages of using discord is that you can interact in the TAMS Discord server or create your own while showing off your personal flair!
Check out our website for more information!
